NYCHalloweenParties.com (the “Site”) is operated by A&N Online Marketing (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. When you fill out a form on the Site, contact us, join our email list, request a group quote, or opt in to text messages, we collect the information you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message or request.
Purchase information. Ticket purchases are processed through third-party ticketing platforms. Depending on the event, checkout may be handled by one of several ticketing providers, each governed by its own privacy policy, which is linked at checkout. When you buy a ticket, the ticketing provider collects your name, email address, billing information, and payment card details. We do not store your full payment card number. We receive order details (name, email, event, ticket type, and amount) so we can deliver your tickets and support your order.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect device and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URLs, approximate location, and how you interact with pages. This is collected using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies described in Section 3.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process and deliver your ticket orders and provide customer support
- Respond to inquiries, group requests, and event listing requests
- Send transactional messages about your purchase or event (these cannot be opted out of)
- Send marketing emails and, if you have opted in, text messages about our events (you can opt out at any time)
- Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it
- Run, measure, and optimize advertising campaigns, including showing you ads for our events on other websites and platforms
- Detect fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal obligations
3. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies
We use the following third-party tools on the Site. Each collects information through cookies or similar technologies and is governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google Analytics 4 — website traffic and behavior analytics. Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Google Tag Manager — manages the deployment of tracking tags on the Site.
- Google Ads — measures conversions from our ads and delivers remarketing ads. You can manage ad personalization at Google Ads Settings.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel — measures ad performance and delivers ads for our events on Meta platforms. Meta Privacy Policy. You can manage ad preferences in your Meta account settings.
- Crazy Egg — records anonymized heatmaps and session interactions to help us understand how visitors use pages. Crazy Egg Privacy Policy.
- Ticketing platforms — the third-party checkout for each event may set cookies during the purchase process. The applicable provider’s privacy policy is linked on the checkout page.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect Site functionality, including checkout. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from many networks at aboutads.info/choices and networkadvertising.org.
We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers that help us operate the Site and our business — including our ticketing providers, email marketing platform, SMS provider, analytics and advertising partners listed above, and hosting provider — and only to the extent needed to perform those services.
- Event Partners and venues. For events produced by independent venues or organizers, we may share attendee names and order details with the Event Partner or venue as needed to operate the event and admit guests. Event Partners are responsible for their own use of that information.
- Advertising platforms. Our use of Google and Meta advertising tools may involve those platforms receiving information about your visit or purchase for ad measurement and targeting. Under some state privacy laws this can be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; see Section 8 for how to opt out.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our business, our attendees, or others.
- Business transfers. If our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Email Marketing
If you sign up for our email list or purchase a ticket, we may send you emails about upcoming events. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not stop transactional emails about an order you have placed.
6. SMS / Text Messaging
If you opt in to text messages, we may send you SMS/MMS messages from our concierge team about event information, support for your booking, or follow-up details you requested. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out; reply HELP for assistance or contact us at info@nychalloweenparties.com or 646.205.7600. We do not share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Full SMS terms are in Section 24 of our Terms of Service.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — including maintaining order records, providing customer support, and marketing to past attendees — unless a longer retention period is required by law. Analytics data is retained according to each provider’s settings.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@nychalloweenparties.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. To opt out of targeted advertising, you can also use the platform-level controls listed in Section 3.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Site and our events are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. Payment processing is handled by our ticketing providers using industry-standard encryption. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Visitors
The Site is operated in the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
12. Third-Party Links
The Site links to third-party websites, including venue sites and social media platforms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing any information.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
