The Venue
Loosie’s is a subterranean nightclub beneath Moxy Lower East Side at 145 Bowery, where industrial textures meet the indulgence of a downtown night out. Tufted banquettes line the room, metallic flecks catch the light on concrete-style walls, and a sculptural disco-ball chandelier hangs above the action. A cage-like structure over the bar adds to the space’s raw, deliberately theatrical character. The powerful sound system and intimate setting keep the dance floor at the center of the experience. It’s a room that suits vintage leather, a carefully chosen outfit and plans that run later than expected. For a Halloween party on the Lower East Side, Loosie’s already has the atmosphere: dark corners, reflected light and plenty of personality before the first costume arrives.
