Bollywood After Dark: Desi Beats & Halloween ScreamsHalloween night at The Cutting Room belongs to Bollywood. HR Beats and DJ Yash take over with Bollywood anthems and Desi hits all night, the kind of tracks the whole crowd sings back, and the dance floor fills fast and stays that way. Show up as a horror icon, your favorite Bollywood hero or anything in between, then put the look on the line in the costume contest. Costumes are encouraged but not required. Round up your crew, dress up and spend the biggest costume night of the year dancing to the music you grew up on. Ages 21 and over.

The Venue
The Cutting Room sits a couple of blocks from the Empire State Building, and on Halloween night the whole venue is part of the party. A gilded arch crowned with the club's monogram frames the stage, a long curved wooden bar glows under red pendant lamps, and a sculpture of stained glass and electric guitars hangs over the main floor like a chandelier. Wooden staircases wrapped in string lights climb to balconies on both sides that look down on the action, where deep red walls, crystal chandeliers and framed rock-and-roll portraits set the tone. Up front, a lounge with an oval porthole window looks out onto 32nd Street. Candlelight, warm wood and saturated stage color give it the feel of a classic rock club dressed up for a night out.
